RIGHTS & LICENSING
Owlkids Books are widely enjoyed both at home in North America and around the world. Our award-winning titles have been translated into over 20 languages and published in dozens of countries, as well as being licensed for TV, film, book club, book fair, and other uses. Foreign Editions

All material published by Owlkids Books is protected under copyright law; written permission is required to reprint, reproduce, or adapt any of it. If you are interested in obtaining permission for use, please take a moment to review our permission guidelines before sending in your request—it will then be evaluated carefully and, in most cases, assessed an appropriate fee for use.
Please include the following information about the material in your written request: book title and publication year; the extent of the content; details of your project (print run, price, number of pages, number of users, projected publication date, format or platform, territory, and language). Please also include a scan of the requested material for reprint. Please note that, while small edits are generally acceptable, we do not grant permission for significant text edits or add-ons.
We receive many requests for permissions, so please allow sufficient time for review. Once we have reviewed and approved your permission request, we will issue a contract with the terms of use. The contract will be emailed to you via a digital signature platform. You will be asked to return the signed contract and send applicable fees to the address below.

Once we receive payment, we will be able to provide any needed digital files. Once the material has been reprinted, please send two copies to Owlkids Books c/o Rights and Permissions at the address above.
Read-Aloud/Online Story Time Permissions
If you are a librarian, educator, or blogger and would like to post a read-aloud of an Owlkids book online, please note that written permission is required and that we apply fees for any material that will be made available. Please contact the permissions department using the e-mail address above to find out about fees and terms of use.
